Known for his powerful blend of folk, blues, and rock, Easton has built a reputation as a modern troubadour whose songs balance tradition with fresh energy, unflinching honesty, and timeless storytelling. The youngest of seven children, Easton was born in Upstate New York, raised in Tokyo and Ohio, and spent years busking his way across Europe before recording his first solo album in Nashville. His career quickly flourished—signing with EMI Publishing and New West Records, releasing The Truth About Us (2001) featuring members of Wilco, and earning critical acclaim with Break Your Mother’s Heart (2003), hailed by Rolling Stone for its “novelist’s sense of humanity.” Over two decades of international touring and a rich catalog of albums have cemented Easton as one of the most compelling voices in Americana Folk and Roots music.
